Dear friends and family,

We will be going to Plovdiv from May 24th to 27th and will be posting more pictures soon! We hope to go camping if the weather permits. It is raining right now and last night we had a spectacular thunder and lightening storm.

Black Sea

Gordon and I went to the Black Sea with a colleague- Daniel. We left on Saturday morning, April 28th and drove 5 hours east in Daniel's car to city named Varna. It is a resort town being the most lively in the hot summery season. Then we went north about 60 km to Kaliakra National Park on Sunday, and then south to Burgas- which was more livelier than Varna on this particular weekend. This is me on our sofa at home in Sofia, researching and planning our trips throughout Sofia from the Lonely Planet guide- traveling makes me smile! On our next four day weekend (May 24-27) we plan on going near Plovidiv, a city about 100 km SE of Sofia to go camping... pictures will follow!
